Sederma’s Crystalide wins second China award

Cosmetic peptide Crystalide has scooped maker Sederma its second award in China in 2019

The ingredient won a 2019 Ringier Technology Innovation Award in the skin care category just months after taking home the PCHi Fountain Award for Moisturising/Hydration Active Ingredient in February.

Crystalide, launched May 2018, is described as a ‘biohighlighter peptide’. It induces the chaperone protein a-crystallin to preserve skin transparency, while its soft-polish effect reveals a uniform glow, resulting in a ‘glass-like’ skin appearance.
