Sederma passes first phase in joining UEBT

The active cosmetic ingredients maker says the step reflects parent company Croda’s 2030 sustainability goals

Active cosmetic ingredients supplier Sederma has taken a new step in its ongoing journey to become a member of the Union for Ethical BioTrade (UEBT).

Following two days of audit, Sederma, which is part of speciality chemicals giant Croda, successfully passed the first phase in becoming a member of the UEBT, which promotes the respectful supply of natural ingredients.

Arnaud Fournial, Sederma’s Managing Director, said: “This approach echoes Croda’s sustainable commitment to be climate, land and people positive by 2030 and reinforces our ambition to be an essential supplier of responsible cosmetic solutions and ingredients.”
