Scientific and Regulatory Project Manager - London

CTPA is currently recruiting for a Scientific and Regulatory Project Manager to support its scientific and regulatory services departments

The Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA) is the voice of the cosmetics and personal care industry in the UK, promoting good working practice and representing the interest of its members through active dialogue with UK Government, European and international regulators, interested stakeholders and media. Membership comprises manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, retailers and service providers, from SMEs to multi-nationals.

CTPA is currently recruiting for a Scientific and Regulatory Project Manager to support its scientific and regulatory services departments in progressing this leading trade association’s objectives of shaping the regulatory framework for cosmetics and providing direct support to CTPA member companies. The successful candidate must possess the ability to manage multiple and varied projects, evidenced through previous experience in project management. Previous experience within the cosmetics industry or related industries such as chemicals, toys or medicines is desirable. A scientific background or experience will be useful, but is not essential.

Excellent organisational and administrative skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously, are essential. A high level of computer literacy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach are also required, because the position requires independent and proactive working.

This full-time position will require the Project Manager to work across both the Scientific and Regulatory departments. The successful candidate is expected to take responsibility for specific projects including their organisation, administration and overseeing their completion. This role will support the CTPA expert teams, promoting the efficient use of time and resources.

CTPA is an office-based organisation, located in central London, which offers the flexibility of some remote working as appropriate. CTPA is offering an attractive salary according to experience, with private healthcare and a workplace pension scheme.
