Schwarzkopf crowned official beauty partner of Eurovision Song Contest 2016

The hair care brand has been a sponsor of five previous song contests

German hair care brand Schwarzkopf has been announced as the official beauty partner of Eurovision 2016.

It is not the first time the brand has been involved with the song contest; it was a sponsor of five contests between 2009 and 2014. As the competition’s official beauty partner, Schwarzkopf will have pan-European association, event, media and new media rights for the events happening in Sweden. The semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest are due to take place on 10 and 12 May, with the grand final on 14 May. These rounds will be held in the Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

In a release, Jon Ola Sand, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, said: “Schwarzkopf has been a loyal partner to the Eurovision Song Contest for a number of years and we are delighted to welcome them back in 2016. Schwarzkopf is one of Europe’s top brands and through this partnership we will be able to showcase another round of sparkling performances”.
