Cornelius is a well established European distributor of commodity and specialty chemicals. We require a Sales Manager to support thecontinued growth in France in the Health & Food sector. The successful candidate will be able to explore and identify new customers, open doors, initiate projects and win new business.

The Ideal Candidate
The preferred candidate must have a background from the Food and/or Ingredients industry. They are an experienced sales person with technical knowledge in food ingredients, and possibly with an educational background in Food Technology or Chemistry .Experience in the Pet Food, Bakery & Confectionery , Drinks, Sport Nutrition, Dairy or Meat food areas would be preferred.

Responsibilities
- Achieve turnover and profitability budgets, for the agreed area and customers
- Prepare a monthly overview on the performance of the sales area and projects.
- Prepare a sales plan to ensure that customers are regularly visited in the most cost efficient manner.
- Support team spirit within the Health & Food group and wider company
- Build effective relationships with principals and assist with their strategic development.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining cost efficient stock levels for relevant principals
- For the right candidate there is the opportunity to be responsible for Multinational customers
Working Conditions
- The job is home based in France.
- The candidate is expected to work such hours as may be reasonably necessary, so as properly to fulfil their duties.
