French fashion house Rochas is to produce a limited edition of its fragrance Eau de Rochas with a bottle designed by graphic artist Aurore de La Morinerie. It is the first limited edition in the firm’s history. Eau de Rochas was released in 1970 to tie in with French Mothers’ Day and was created by Nicolas Mamounas. The new edition has the same formulation but the inner silver label has been changed for a blue one and the outer packaging features a woman in a blue evening gown, executed in de la Morinerie’s trademark ink-and-wash style.
