The new flanker is said to said to be an ‘overdose’ of woody notes

LVMH-owned beauty brand Dior has hired English actor Robert Pattinson to appear in the campaign for its new Homme flanker scent.

Created by Dior perfumer François Demachy, the scent is said to be an ‘overdose’ of woody notes to create a 'sensual' masculine fragrance.

This includes notes of atlas cedar, Haitian vetiver, patchouli and musk, accompanied by notes of bergamot, pink peppercorn and elemi.

“The signature of this composition is an overdose of sensual woods,” said Demachy.

“The scent of this new Dior Homme gets straight to the point, it claims a frank, solid simplicity. It is luminous and appealing, but also conceals an enveloping softness.”

In the film, the Twilight and Remember Me star is said to inhabit the ‘soul’ of Dior Homme by depicting confidence and virility.

The 33-year-old was first assigned to the brand in 2013.
