Remington scoops two prestigious Red Dot Product Design Awards

Hyperflex rotary shavers and Vacuum Beard & Grooming Kit were recognised for their high quality and innovative design

Remington has been been recognised at the Red Dot Product Design Awards, picking up two awards for its HyperFlex range of rotary shavers and lithium powered Vacuum Beard & Grooming Kit.

A 40-member expert jury panel cited the HyperFlex range and Vacuum Beard & Grooming Kit for their high quality and innovation. In this year's competition, the international experts discussed and evaluated 4,815 entries from 53 countries.

The Red Dot Design Award programme was created by the Design Center Nordrhein Westfalen and is an internationally renowned competition, with award-winning products displayed in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen for at least one year.

David Roland, Remington Global Director of Design, says: "It's quite an honour to receive these coveted awards. Remington's HyperFlex rotary shavers are the brand’s first wet and dry models, designed to work with the contours of the face for an even, close shave. The Vacuum Beard & Grooming Kit is a brand new innovation from the grooming brand and the very latest multi-functional hair trimmer not only helps to create a perfect beard, but also saves time and mess with its built in vacuum chamber, capturing cut-off hairs during the shave.
