Record Breaking $6m raised at Revlon's LOVE IS ON Charity Event

The LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge was run across September and October and encourages women's health charities to raise funds rewarding the winners with an extra one million dollars.

Over the 6-week period, competitors in the challenge raised staggering $6.37M in donations - more than double the amount generated in Revlon’s inaugural challenge last year. With over 150 women’s health charities competing for the $1M donation from Revlon, Cancer Research Institute claimed 1st place generating over $1.2M throughout the competition.

From fighting cancer to treating diabetes and supporting female empowerment, the top 5 charities that raised the most funds during the 6-week period were:

  • 1st: Cancer Research Institute with $1,294,188 prize $1,000,000
  • 2nd: Abramson Cancer Center at University of Pennsylvania ($1,184,300 raised prize $100,000)
  • 3rd: Days for Girls International - $757,850 raised prize $75,000
  • 4th: Beyond Type 1 -$451,360 raised prize $50,000
  • 5th: Experience Camps for Grieving Children - $414,854 raised prize $25,000

From multiple donation incentives, to weekly bonus awards, the challenge was successful in encouraging charities to donate and raise awareness for women’s health and making a real difference in women’s lives.
