A Hong Kong headquartered brand, PUREARTH enjoys a cult following and is known for its artisanal, sustainably sourced, cruelty free skin care and wellness line.
In honour of its 6th Anniversary this month, PUREARTH will donate 10% of sale proceeds during their anniversary celebrations from 22 to 25 September to Rainlily, an NGO in Hong Kong that works to raise awareness of sexual violence against women and promote gender equity.
In the coming months, PUREARTH looks forward to organising workshops and campaigns to support Rainlily.
As a social enterprise, PUREARTH advocates conscious consumption by channeling proceeds into Pure Purpose Foundation, its sister organisation and a charitable foundation.
By partnering with microcredit women savings and self-help groups in the remote Himalayas and rural tribal areas, PUREARTH enables marginalised producer groups to engage with urban markets on fair terms.
The purpose of doing so is to empower women through fair trade not aid and build alliances that bridge inequalities in gender and product pricing in urban markets.
