Spanish packaging companies Pujolasos and Decopak Europ have joined forces to patent what is said to be the world’s first metallised wooden cap.
The cap, called Luxury Wood, was created to provide a ‘sophisticated touch’ to wood, while preserving the wood’s characteristics and associations with nature. The cap’s hue was made using a metallised varnish and comes in a wide variety of colours and tones. It can also have a matte or shiny finish, metallic features or personalised decoration.
