Phoenix Beauty has announced that it will take over distribution of the Elie Saab and Chopard fragrance portfolios in the UK from January 2021.

The deal will also include UK retailers who have stores in Ireland.

Lebanese designer Elie Saab made his fashion debut in 1982 with the debut Elie Saab fragrance hitting stores in 2011. Called Le Parfum, the solar woody fragrance was created by renowned nose Francis Kurkdjian.

Chopard, the luxury watch and fine jewellery house, made its foray into perfumery in 1992; in 2017, it launched a range of unisex scents containing sustainable ingredients based around a specific fair trade ingredient, such as neroli, vetiver, magnolia and vanilla.

Shelley Smyth, CEO of Phoenix Beauty, said of the deals: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with the Brands Beyond Beauty team and to welcome the Elie Saab and Chopard fragrances into the Phoenix family here in the UK.”

UK distributor Phoenix Beauty already works with fragrance partners including Carine Roitfeld and Banana Republic.

Geneva, Switzerland-headquartered Brands Beyond Beauty, meanwhile, helps luxury brands build their business into the beauty category.
