Show inspired by designer's recent move to South London studio

Philip Kingsley worked with RYS salon to create a number of key looks for the Phoebe English show at London Fashion Week.

Hair stylist Cyndia Harvey worked with a team of RYS salon stylists to create the look. The stylists used a Phillip Kingsley Maximiser on the roots and lengths of hair before setting it into curls using extra large hair pins, hair straighteners and Philip Kingsley Finishing Touch Hairspray. They then brushed the curls out and styled the hair in a french plait, secured with a ribbon.

The Spring/Summer 2016 show by Phoebe English was inspired by the designer's recent move to a new studio in South London. Harvey told Cosmetics Business: "In the collection, we saw a lot of texture and layering that we really wanted to bring our in the hair somehow." She added: "I loved working with this frizzy, almost afro-like, texture. It always adds a romantic element which I thought worked perfectly with this collection and although the process was not necessarily effortless, the results really were!"
