LloydsPharmacy is expanding beyond mass skin care. Louise Martin, Head of Category at the high street brand, explains.

Why did Lloyds Pharmacy decide to branch into dermo-cosmetics?

We looked at our current offering and found that the majority of what we stocked was mass skin care. We wanted to introduce dermo-cosmetics due to this gap in our offering. This is now an area we want to grow and we want to be seen as experts in skin health. We see our new own brand range, SKINeffect, as bridging the gap between mass and dermo skin care – currently a position that has not yet been fully explored.
