Pat McGrath Labs collides with Netflix’s Bridgerton for beauty collaboration

Regency beauty is getting a make-over with Pat McGrath’s new royalty-inspired collection

Collection features an eye and cheek palette and duo of single highlighters

The beauty brand of legendary make-up artist Pat McGrath Labs has inked a collaborative deal with Netflix’s Bridgerton for its debut cosmetics line.

To celebrate the series, which smashed the streaming services’ initial viewing projections, the brand has developed a series of skus that give a nod to the programme’s 17th century British roots.

Hero to the range is the Diamonds of the First Water eyeshadow palette, complete with six ‘ultra-regal’ colours: pink satin, plum matte, blue astral, rose metallic, berry satin and a champagne highlighter.

The creamy powder formulas are said to feel weightless on the skin with a strong colour pay off to recreate the vivid colours of the era.

Divine Blush + Glow Trio is a Bridgerton-inspired cheek palette with two pink shades and a glowing highlighter.

The gel-based formula, however, contrasts with the palette’s period inspiration, and is a futuristic powder that is said to have ‘revolutionary’ results.

Completing the range is Pat McGrath’s royalty-influenced Sublime Skin Highlighters.

Available in Xtreme Gold 002 and Incandescent Gold 002, the shades are pearl-infused to achieve a customisable illumination on the skin.

“She is an icon and a global force in the beauty and fashion industry, and shares a creative passion for projects that evoke emotion, making her a perfect partner as we expand the Bridgerton world.”

Bridgerton was watched by 82 million households – 19 million more than expected – and has become one of Netflix’s most-watched shows, second only to Korean drama Squid Game.

Speaking about her latest collection, McGrath added: “Like so many people, I fell in love at first swoon with Bridgerton.

“I created a limited edition cosmetics collection inspired by the romance and searing passion that we saw in season one.
