Faber-Castell Cosmetics sets a milestone in terms of sustainability and environmental friendliness with the concept of a rechargeable mechanical cosmetics pencil Faber-Castell Cosmetics' latest future-oriented innovation in the field of responsible packaging – a rechargeable mechanical cosmetics pencil is taking the stage at the Cosmopack fair in Bologna. Still in the process of being industrialised this convenient solution has been developed with environmental sustainability in mind: less waste and more product value!
The rechargeable pencil was presented featuring two different vegan and clean textures for lips, eyes and brows. As the star of Faber-Castell Cosmetics' PROTOPIA concept it has been created based on the belief "that through progress and process tomorrow will be slightly better than today.” (Kevin Kelly).
Making the world a little better - step by step. And not striving for perfection, but instead, actively working on improving - day by day, pencil by pencil. With regard to cosmetics this can include choosing products designed to reduce waste and consciously use nature's resources. After all, small steps into the desired direction are easier to achieve for everyone.
Faber-Castell Cosmetics' interpretation of PROTOPIA is coming to live in a product range that is addressing people who believe in a better future, who are willing to adapt their behaviours and buying decision accordingly.
However, the PROTOPIA concept additionally showcases another area of Faber-Castell Cosmetics expertise - high-performing wooden cosmetics pencils. Being the first to market in 2021 incorporating renewable ingredients in PEFC-certified wood and airtight packaging these pencils are now available in different lengths, or with different ferrules.
Faber-Castell Cosmetics believes that beauty and sustainability are symbiotic. Even if only small steps for the better can be achieved, in the end they will still lead to a better future.
Because it's our nature.
