UK-based personal care ingredients manufacturer Oat Cosmetics has rebranded its range of oat-based cosmetic ingredients by giving its products a simplified naming system.


UK-based personal care ingredients manufacturer Oat Cosmetics has rebranded its range of oat-based cosmetic ingredients by giving its products a simplified naming system.

Said to allow its customers to clearly identify the various grades in each ingredient group, the new names all incorporate the word 'Oat'.

For example, the brand's original colloidal oatmeal has been renamed Oat COM USP, while the new organic version is called Oat COM ORG.

"We felt that we needed to differentiate ourselves more effectively in an increasingly more competitive natural cosmetic ingredients market. The new names give our superior ingredients a stronger brand identity and also help our customers in international markets to make Oat Cosmetics their first choice," said Cara Plumridge, marketing manager at Oat Cosmetics.
