OPI has named celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik as its latest Ambassador.

The manicurist to the stars has painted nails for the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Kerry Washington and Gwyneth Paltrow.

In his new role, Bachik will be working with OPI’s product development and marketing teams to boost NPD and assist with educating nail technicians.

Bachik said: “This collaboration allows me to work with some of the best formulations and tools, as well as one of the best teams in the industry, allowing my creativity and technical skills to thrive.”

As a former graphic artist, Bachik sold custom-painted skateboard helmets before deciding to attend beauty school.

He then went on to become the first nail artist to work exclusively with Chanel.

“We’re incredibly excited to have Tom join the OPI team,” added Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, co-founder of OPI.

“Tom’s work and clientele speak for themselves. He has an unbelievable roster of Tinseltown’s hottest singers and actresses – and he clearly loves colour and uses it in creative, fashionable and impactful ways that make his creations stand out.”
