Sir Fraser Stoddart has unveiled his debut skin care line Noble Panacea

The 2016 Nobel Prize Winner for Chemistry, Sir Fraser Stoddart, has launched a luxury skin care brand, Noble Panacea.

The Scottish chemist's debut range of products contains the patented Organic Molecular Vessel (OMV) Technology, which is said to allow for programmed time-release of potent active ingredients.

Stoddart said: “Our OMVs are green, crafted and manipulated through a very sophisticated process in small batches.

“The final formulation can take three weeks to be created. This craftsmanship, coupled with the precise selection and encapsulation of active ingredients, aims to deliver unprecedented results without any harmful ingredients or irritants.”

Two collections, The Brilliant and The Absolute, complete the range, with each formulation filled into a single-use Active Daily Dose system that is said to preserve the potency of each formulation.

The brand’s products come in minimalist white recyclable packaging, which can be sent back to Noble Panacea to be recycled by partner TerraCycle.

TerraCycle CEO and Founder, Tom Szaky, added: “Through their forward-thinking approach, Noble Panacea is offering a powerful, sustainable option to divert empty Active Daily Dose packaging from landfills.

“At TerraCycle we are fortunate to count Noble Panacea among a select group of luxury beauty brands that offer a consumer-facing recycling programme.”
