Sales of premium skin care products, spearheaded by natural brands, have helped the US prestige beauty market grow by 7% in Q3 2018, to reach $4.1bn.
Skin care sales grew 15% to reach £1.3bn, with natural brands accounting for more than a quarter of all purchases, up 24% on Q3 2017.
Age specialist skin care also fared well, up 14%, with face masks also registering a healthy 12% growth on the same period in 2017.
