US skin care company Murad has opened its first MuradSpace counters in the UK, located in the London Oxford Street and Leeds House of Fraser department stores. Said to serve as a unique retail environment, each space offers consumers the opportunity to experience a skin health assessment inspired by the consultations given to patients by dermatologist and brand founder Howard Murad.
Customers who visit the brand’s counters will be able to receive a complimentary skin health assessment using Murad’s YouthCam, a high-resolution camera that is used to analyse the skin and helps to create personalised product recommendations. YouthCam assesses skin health on five key markers: fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, redness, inflammation and pores, providing customers with a personalised product prescription that addresses their particular needs.
The new MuradSpace will carry all of the brand’s 12 solution-based skin care lines, including its popular Resurgence, Age Reform, Redness Therapy, and Murad Man lines.
