Hair care brand Moroccanoil has announced the appointment of supermodel Sara Sampaio as its new Beauty Ambassador.
The 25-year-old Portuguese national and Victoria’s Secret model will front the brand’s new print and digital advertising campaign shot by photographer Norman Jean Roy.
The ads are slated to appear in glossy magazines including Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle and Glamour.
Sampaio, who lives in New York, has 4.8 million Instagram followers and regularly posts images of her professional campaigns as well as behind-the-scenes glimpses into her everyday life.
Moroccanoil Co-founder Carmen Tal said the brand is “thrilled” that Sampaio is joining the team as it grows its brand footprint.
“Her global influence and captivating beauty make her the perfect partner to engage our community and invite new audiences to embrace the brand's luxurious head-to-toe experience,” she said.
Speaking about her appointment Sampaio said: “As such a huge fan of the brand for years, I felt incredibly honoured to be selected as the new Moroccanoil Beauty Ambassador.”
