The van will travel to destinations across London and Cambridge to celebrate the launch of its Graham Greene-inspired scents Brighton Rock and Blousy

Miller Harris is appealing to customers with a sweet tooth by launching its Ice Cream Van UK tour.

The branded van kick-started its journey in London this week and will stop off at various destinations across the capital, including Westfield White City, Coal Drops Yard, Reuters Plaza, as well as the city of Cambridge throughout August and September.

The journey will finish at London Beauty Week in Covent Garden on 15 September.

It celebrates the launch of the brand’s Brighton Rock and Blousy fragrances (from £75), inspired by Graham Greene’s classic novel Brighton Rock.

With top notes of rose, geranium and iris; and a heart of lily of the valley, jasmine, sandalwood and ozonic salty accords, Brighton Rock is said to “capture the spirit of [the] legendary British town”.

Blousy, meanwhile, is infused with floral notes of violet, rose and carnation; as well as pink pepper, cinnamon and green mandarin, and has been created as an ode to 1930s glamour, the time in which Greene’s novel is set.

The wearer will also find strawberry liqueur and hawthorn at the scent’s heart; on a base of tonka bean, sandalwood, oakmoss and vanilla.

Visitors will be able to purchase the fragrances directly from the van and pose for pictures to win a collection of Brighton Rock inspired products.

Other fragrances in its literary-inspired collection include Violet Ida, based on the character Ida Arnold in Brighton Rock and Scherzo, inspired by a passage of text from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Tender is the Night.
