Pure play beauty stalwart Space NKhas kicked off 2021 by stamping its authority as one of the UK's staple beauty destinations.

In spite of the numerous UK-wide Covid-19 lockdowns, which forced beauty retailers to shut up shop, the 30-year-old beauty business has not been put off expanding its bricks-and-mortar fleet, opening its 76th in London in June.

The seller also reappeared on our screens with its first campaign, ‘This is your beauty Space NK’, following a ten year hiatus.

But what is it about the future of beauty that's exciting Space NK? In this exclusive Q&A Margaret Mitchell, the retailer's Chief Merchandising Officer, tells Cosmetics Business which brands she wants to bring on board in 2021 and explains how the make-up category is finally undergoing a make-over.
