Company reveals new corporate structure and promotions

Markwins Beauty Brands has restructured its leadership team with three key promotions.

Evelyn Wang

Evelyn Wang has been named as the brand’s new Senior Vice President of Marketing for Wet n Wild. She has been promoted from the role of Vice President of Marketing for the brand, and was attributed with improving the brand’s development strategy.

Wang oversaw the recent launch of the 1 Step WonderGel and a range of cruelty-free, vegan make-up brushes, contributing to the brand’s current 22% growth rate.

Wang’s new role includes overseeing branding, product development and communications and market research for Wet n Wild.

Alice Chen

Alice Chen has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Marketing for Physicians Formula. Previously serving as Director of Marketing at the brand, she is now tasked with expanding the brand’s presence in new and existing markets.

Chen joined Markwins Beauty Brands in 2015 and worked on a new merchandising strategy that has seen sales increase more than 30%. She also contributed to the launch of Physicians Formula’s 2016 brand campaign.

Chen has also worked as Director of Marketing at Wet n Wild, contributing to the launch of some of the brand’s most successful products.

Emily Huang

Emily Huang has been promoted from the role of Director of Marketing at Bonne Bell and Lip Smacker to the role of Vice President. Huang has worked on increasing the brands’ distribution into Walmart, Target, Rite Aid and Kohl’s.

Huang also led the innovative collaboration between Markwins and Disney’s Tsum Tsum. The project is expected to result in more than $5m worth of retail sales as 1.5m products are sold in 2016.

In this new role, Huang will be tasked with building brand awareness through consumer focus marketing programs. Bonne Bell is also expected to relaunch with an updated brand positioning and new products.
