Markwins appoints new CFO

Leslie Hernandez promoted to new financial role

Markwins International has appointed its new Chief Financial Officer – Leslie Hernandez.

Prior to joining Markwins three years ago, Hernandez worked at Physicians Formula where she held similar financial positions. She also spent a year working as Coporate Secretary on the company’s Board of Directors.

Physicians Formula was acquired by Markwins International in 2012, effectively ending Hernandez’ role on the Board. Since then, Hernandez has served as Senior Vice President of Finanace at Markwins.

Hernandez has also previously worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Certified Public Accountant. She has spent a total of more than 11 years in the cosmetics industry.

In her new role, Hernandez will now be responsible for the management of complex business transactions and strategic initiatives such as direct communications with the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Nomination Corporate Governance and Compensation Committees and the reliable reporting of financial results.
