Racinne is the latest of a growing number of southeast Asian beauty brands to make its way to Europe. Hailing from Korea, Racinne is said to combine biotechnology with the latest in plant stem cell science and offers products to target the whole spectrum of ageing concerns from the first signs of ageing to deep set wrinkles.

How well established is Racinne in Korea?

After its recent launch in Korea, Racinne has quickly captured the interest of women in Asia. We are now selling in Shinsegae Mall, which is a leading online retailer, CJ Mall, Galleria Mall, GSSHOP, Lotte-I Mall and Skin-Rx Mall. Apart from Korea, we have also launched in Hong Kong as well as Japan, and we are now preparing to launch in Taiwan.

How are Korean brands perceived in the UK?

I think that the Far East has always been perceived as a place of great technology, improvement, growth and potential in all fields. In the beauty industry, Korea is perceived as a leader, simply by providing the highest standards and latest technology. For some time we have observed a growing interest in Korean beauty brands both in the UK and Europe.
