You will be joining an incredible new environment boasting brand new state of the art facilities, equipment and you will be responsible for delivering efficiency and excellence whilst driving engineering improvements through automation and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Using lean techniques to drive culture and continuous improvement and industry benchmarking developing world class manufacturing practices
- Managing direct and indirect costs in the manufacturing area, defining targets and budgets
- Lead the engineering team, initiating planned preventive maintenance and care plans for key equipment
- Utilise manufacturing equipment delivering equipment efficiency and effectively achieving and exceeding KPI’s (cost, quality and service)
- Being a leader – Motivate and influence your team, be a positive mentor in driving success and help everyone to improve
- Project management – Keeping in line with budgets and deadlines managing multiple projects and targets.
Key Requirements:
- Strong tablet manufacturing experience (high volumes) food or pharmaceuticals background welcomed
- Coating requirements experiences desirable
- Complex manufacturing experience involving multiple processes
- Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Background in managing automation projects
- Strong leader and maximum organisational skills.
