Swedish skin care brand Foreo has announced the release of what it claims to be its most high-tech device to date.
The personalised Luna fofo device (£79) uses AI algorithms to refine and customise a routine designed to deliver personalised skin care results by analysing skin for customised cleansing.
The device’s sensors pair with the Foreo mobile app to read hydration levels and skin age, and optimise a routine for users.
Foreo’s UK General Manager Rachael Nsofor said: “With consumers more educated than ever, it’s no surprise that 55% of millennials would like more access to bespoke experiences and services.
“This has resulted in the demand for products that fit their own personal routines and meet their own sensitivities.”
As well as featuring its own algorithm, the fofo features signature characteristics of the brand’s original products, including T-sonic technology, in-built timer alerts, replaceable batteries and a fully waterproof design.
To use the device, consumers must download the app, create an account and answer the set skin care questions; they can then analyse their skin using the back of the device.
Luna fofo will be available in seven colours: pink, aquamarine, fuchsia, midnight, mint, purple and yellow.
