L\'Oréal owned mail order subsidiary to close
Beauté Créateurs will cease all activity during H1 2014
Beauté Créateurs, a mail order subsidiary of L'Oréal, has announced its intention to cease activity during the first half of 2014. Created in the 1980s and with a presence in France, Germany and Japan, Beauté Créateurs sells the Agnès b., Cosmence and Professeur Christine Poelman brands among others.
Despite achieving a turnover of €87m over the last 12 months, the subsidiary has encountered difficulties in recent years linked to the structural weakening of the mail order business model.
L'Oréal says that all employees of Beauté Créateurs will be offered employment within the L'Oréal group.
