L’Oréal Brazil is due to host its very first hackathon in Sao Paulo, aptly named “Beautyhack”. L’Oréal already held a similar initiative in Paris.

From 18-20 March participants will be tasked with overcoming the following four challenges using their programming and developing skills: 1) Get consumers to incorporate the use of the Dermaclub app into their daily lives; 2) Spread awareness and information about brands such as L’Oréal Professionnel, Kerástase, Redken, Matrix and Essie in a way that targets salon professionals in an accessible, thorough yet engaging manner; 3) Develop a mobile assisted purchase service for Maybelline; 4) Get consumers to include L’Oréal products from its luxury range in their daily routines.
