L’Oréal has appointed a new member to its Executive Committee.
The brand-owner’s CEO of L’Oréal China, Stéphane Rinderknech has become the sixteenth member to be appointed to the committee.
Rinderknech joined L’Oréal back in 2001 as part of the cosmetics giant’s Travel Retail Business, after which he was appointed General Manager of Lancôme in 2005 and onto GM of Luxury in Korea.
L’Oréal said that China is now a key role in the company’s strategy, thanks to the country’s strong growth rate, digital modernity and e-commerce and its technological progress.
In a statement released by L’Oréal it said: “The participation of L’Oréal China in the Executive Committee will amplify the speed of reaction of the Group to meet these challenges.”
