L’Oréal, Benefit and Arden ink travel retail deal with MSX

Macintyre Scott Xtra (MSX) has expanded its scope from confectionary and spirits to include cosmetics prompting new partnerships with luxury goods brands

Macintyre Scott Xtra (MSX), a bonded warehousing specialist and distributor to the travel retail sector, has announced travel retail partnerships with L’Oréal Luxe, Benefit, Elizabeth Arden and Original Additions.

The company has expanded from storing and distributing confectionary, beers, wines and spirits to include luxury goods such as cosmetics and fragrances.

We saw a gap in the market that we could move into. As we are well respected in confectionary and drink, we saw an opportunity.

As a result, MSX has become the UK’s exclusive luxury goods distributor to the travel retail sector.

Speaking to Cosmetics Business, MSX’s newly-appointed Luxury Brand Manager Annie Ramsay-South explained that MSX seized the opportunity to move into luxury goods after rival company Ocean Trading
