Collection Eyes campaign to debut in March

Kristen Stewart has been named as the latest celebrity ambassador for Chanel make-up. She is set to star in an upcoming series of ads for Chanel's eye make-up collection.

The Twilight actress is said to have posed for a series of portraits shot by Mario Testino for the campaign, which will debut in March later this year. The images are said to depict the different aspects of the contemporary woman and promote Chanel's Collection Eyes range.

Stewart joins existing Chanel beauty ambassadors Gisele Bundchen, who is the face of Chanel's Les Beiges range, and Kiera Knightly, who fronts campaigns for Rouge Coco lipsticks.

Stewart has been associated with Chanel since 2013 and has previously appeared in an eyewear campaign for the brand. Last year she also starred in a short film written and directed by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld, she played an actress getting ready to assume the role of Coco Chanel.

In 2012 Stewart was named as the face of Balenciaga’s Florabotanica fragrance, making this her second major beauty campaign.
