The Golden Krocus Ageless Saffron Elixir contains hand-picked saffron extract from Greece to maintain its antioxidant power

Greek skin care brand Korres has collaborated with the Cooperative of Saffron Producers of Kozani to create a new saffron-inspired elixir.

The Golden Krocus Ageless Saffron Elixir (£69) contains saffron hand-picked from Greece to repair the signs of ageing.

The elixir blends saffron with beta-glucans, peptides and amino-acids to build skin’s resilience, strengthen inner skin health and deliver visible anti-ageing results.

It is also formulated with amino acids which are said to create the same results as collagen injections, low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, which absorbs easily into the skin and oat and tamarind seed polysaccharides, in order to form an invisible barrier over the skin to firm and smooth fine lines.

Through the partnership the brand is supporting the local economy and around 1,000 families from 20 surrounding villages.

The elixir is now available to buy in-store and online from John Bell & Croydon.
