Cult US brand Kat Von D Beauty has tapped actress, singer and former model Jackie Cruz to front its new vegan mascara campaign.
Best known for her appearance in Orange Is The New Black, the star is the first celebrity to appear in a mascara campaign for the brand in five years.
The Go Big or Go Home product (US$23), set to launch on 19 April, is said to be ultra-long wearing without smudging, flaking or clumping.
Its plant-based formula uses olive and sunflower oils instead of traditionally used beeswax.
Meanwhile, its wavy fibre bristles are said to hold on more formula, separating each lash to create a fanned out effect.
Cruz most recently appeared in US films A Nice Girl Like You and This Changes Everything.
