From Metallica to Kiss, male lead singers (and fans) have been wearing eyeliner for years.
Even so, beauty brands are only just trying to appeal to the opposite sex – and Kat Von D Beauty is jumping on the movement.
The Kendo-owned brand broke the news in Instagram Story yesterday; that the tattoo artist is collaborating with Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong on a new 'guyliner'.
Basketcase, named after Armstrong’s hit song and 1994 album Dookie, is designed to help male consumers achieve the classic smudged rockstar look.
Packaged in a slim black case, the eyeliner features Armstrong’s signature and branded in cartoon-like font.
More details are expected to be released soon.
