Businesswomen was appearing in a ‘mentor role’

Entrepreneur Jo Malone, founder of Jo Malone Ltd and her second global beauty brand Jo Loves, addressed a packed audience of CEW(UK) members last night as their guest mentor.

At the talk, which was widely praised for its passion and enthusiasm by attendees, Malone discussed some of the challenges she has faced and the things that she has learned while creating Jo Loves, which launched earlier this year. She also touched upon her love of British creativity and how making the BBC series High Street Dreams inspired her to start again and how she believes that women can really help each other in business.

She commented: “After leaving my role as founder and creative director of Jo Malone Ltd in 2006, I woke up everyday still dreaming of fragrance. Jo Loves is the reality of those dreams, my hopes and creative thoughts, the ingredients in life that I love, but most of all it is about my passion for life, my language and my voice.”

No stranger to CEW(UK) events, Malone was given an Achiever Award in 2006, the same year she sold her first business to Estée Lauder, and hosted her first mentoring event in 2002.
