Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) UK has appointed Sara Wolverson and Jane Henderson to its Board.

Existing board member Christianne Cavaliere de Moncayo will be promoted to the organisation's Executive Board.

The organisation hopes that the new members will bring CEW closer to its goal of building a strong board of representatives and decision-makers who represent all areas of beauty.

Caroline Neville, President of CEW UK, said: “CEW is growing globally in the UK, US and France, which means it's crucial that we have a strong board comprised of key women in the industry who provide strategic insights and support for key activations and events throughout the year.”

1. SARA WOLVERSON

Wolverson is currently Marketing Director of Consumer Beauty UK&I at Coty, and is said to bring “unprecedented knowledge in her field”, according to CEW.

She has a BSc Hons in Consumer Product Management from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and prior to joining Coty, held positions at Boots, Superdrug and Sainsbury’s.

2. JANE HENDERSON

Meanwhile, Henderson, Global President of Mintel's Beauty and Personal Care division, is expected to bring valuable insight into market data.

She has 20 years' experience at the company and has also worked as Corporate Health Manager at health care company Bupa and Media Relations Director at PR company Montpellier Marketing.

In addition to the new appointments, Christianne Cavaliere de Moncayo, CEO of the London College of Beauty Therapy, will join CEW's Executive Board.

She is expected to bring valuable knowledge regarding the education and skills training of young women, which CEW hopes will help train and inspire the next generation of women in beauty.
