InnerRenewal [CC+AA] is a new active plant shell made of a cell of cornflower (centaurea cyanus) with vitamin C (ascorbic acid) inside.

The cornflower is a little flower growing closed to the fields, with famous medicinal properties in Western countries and the vitamin C has been used for a long time for its antioxidant and healing properties.

Focused on the ageing of fibroblasts, InnerRenewal [CC+AA] offers different positive test results.

In vitro tests show a significant effect on damaged cells of the dermis and the epidermis:

  • Protecting the life and functions of cells by decreasing the lipid peroxidation induced by hydrogen peroxide
  • Strengthening the dermis layers by improving the collagen I and collagen III synthesis, and the proteoglycans and GAG synthesis decreased by hydrogen peroxide
  • Increasing the skin barrier by restoring the cell renewal of keratinocytes.

A clinical study with 20 women aged 42 to 63 years-old showed an average decrease in the total area of wrinkles of 18% after 28 days of treatment (2 applications/day).

All tests were carried out with a concentration of 0.5% of InnerRenewal [CC+AA] made of 20% cells in 80% vegetable glycerine. Inner Renewal [CC+AA] does not contain any preservatives.

It can be used in formulas for skin care products (face and body) or make-up products. COSMOS or Natrue approvals and ISO 16128 certificate available for all liquid forms on request.
