The new database is free to the IFSCC’s 16,000 members until 1 November 2018
The International Federation of Societies of Cosmetics Chemists (IFSCC) has relaunched Kosmet, its online academic paper database.
According to IFSCC’s newly appointed President, Dr Peter Kang, the revamp will simplify customer experience, “Many scientists told us the old Kosmet interface wasn't user-friendly, and we listened,” he said.
“The new Kosmet interface we're launching today will make the Kosmet cosmetic science database much easier to use.”
The 83,000 —strong directory will be free for individual members until 1 November 2018, due to funding from corporate sponsors Greentech and Pechoin.
Papers on the Kosmet database are sourced by the company’s Scientific Editor, Dr Karl Raabe.
Raabe has spent his career in cosmetics science and is a former member of the IFSCC Praesidium.
