Beauty and wellness retailer Holland & Barrett has entered a partnership with food delivery business Deliveroo to bring customers a different type of convenience service.

Through the food delivery services’ app, consumers will be able to order more than 200 health and beauty products from 50 stores across the UK.

Holland & Barrett has also added two new product lines to its portfolio. This includes the new Vitaskin skin care range and Clean Me, featuring shampoos and conditioners.

This will include beauty products such as CBD oils, which have rocketed in sales since the coronavirus lockdown, according to Forbes.

“These unprecedented times have seen more customers than ever before shop with us for their health products online,” said Tony Buffin, Holland & Barrett’s CEO.

“Deliveroo is an exciting new partnership for us, one that will make it even quicker and easier for customers to get some of our top selling lines during the lockdown.”

The partnership marks a contemporary return of the 150-year-olds retailer’s former delivery service; Holland & Barrett used to offer local delivery services for vitamins and supplements to local consumers (pictured).

“We are pleased to partner with Holland & Barrett and deliver a new range of healthy food and supplements to our customers,” added Deliveroo’s VP of New Business, Ajay Lakhwani.

The minimum spend for the service is £15.
