Personal care giant Henkel has launched a new software tool to determine the recyclability of new packaging that it says will help cut packaging waste at the beginning of the supply chain.

The new tool is based on public and recognised criteria catalogues such as those from Plastics Recyclers Europe and is currently used by Henkel throughout its business.
