HCT brings tokidoki colour to life for Sephora

Colour cosmetics get Japanese styling

The latest collaboration of Japanese lifestyle brand tokidoki is for an exclusive colour cosmetics range with retailer Sephora. The cult illustrations and characters have been transformed into a collection of highly pigmented colours for lips, eyes and face with beauty tools including kabuki brushes, nail files and buffers and a range of accessories including key rings.

HCT Packaging worked with Sephora to create a range of packaging and formulas, using custom designed packaging featuring marker style ink liners inspired by graphic artist pens and ink jet printing to complement the unique style of tokidoki.

“Working on the development of this line was incredibly rewarding for all of us as HCT,” says Nick Gardner, executive vp sales with HCT CA. “Sephora and tokidoki’s incredibly strong graphics and brand ideas coupled with such a wide array of products in the line gave all of the different suppliers within the HCT group a chance to really shine creatively.”
