The beauty brand is donating 15% of all sales made online until the end of March to Feeding America

US-based beauty brand Grande Cosmetics has pledged to donate a portion of its sales to help consumers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Until 31 March, 15% of all order revenue made through the brand’s website will be donated to Feeding America.

The non-profit has a network of more than 200 food banks across the US.

Commenting on the decision, Grande Cosmetics’ CEO, Alicia Grande, said: “I didn’t grow up wealthy, and I put myself through college working as a waitress.

“I know what it takes to be in the service industry, especially as a salon or spa professional whose work includes touching people daily.

“I am grateful to those individuals in particular as they helped me get my start in the industry.”

She continued: “As I see many of them now suffering, I decided it was my turn to take action and give back.”

Customers purchasing products via grande-cosmetics.com will also be able to receive 15% off until the same date.

Grande Cosmetics offers products for lips, brows, hair and face.
