This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a high level position at a renowned international fragrance house. As Global R&D Director you will take on Global Board responsibility for all Research and Development functions within the business, including Product Performance and Analytical functions.
With your excellent communication and passion for the industry you will thrive presenting ground-breaking technologies at trade events on behalf of the business, of which there is the potential for significant overseas travel.
Using your seasoned management skills, you will oversee global divisions ensuring that the R&D aspects of the business strategy are well-defined, coordinated and executed. You will be responsible for making sure all R&D/Performance Testing facilities meet the business standards and compatibility of testing.
You will drive forward new strategic product development; you will spot key areas of opportunity in emerging product categories ensuring the business is able to support customers in these areas.
In close collaboration with the Group Technical Director, you will oversee the proper implementation of all technical policies, protocols, and plans.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a fragrance related environment, with a strong track record in R&D or Technical Management.
You must also have a strong chemistry background, at least to degree level.
