This is a unique opportunity for a world-class Supply Chain Director with the expertise and skill to hit the ground running at this major manufacturer of consumer goods. Joining a well-established organisation that operates in global markets, your focus will be to deliver the Supply Chain objectives and the wider global objectives.
This is a true leadership role, as you will take ownership of the group’s Supply Chain function. You will set strategic direction and manage financial performance through planning, budgeting, driving and external costs.
In this position the successful candidate will drive major change, as they develop strategic policies and create frameworks that will transform the Supply Chain. They will have a global outlook as they ensure the delivery of product into international markets.
The ideal candidate must be extremely well versed in the practicalities of Supply Chain Functions and other connected competencies, from Risk Management to NPD Development and Delivery.
Using your specialist knowledge and proven leadership experience you will drive change and deliver results. You must have strong interpersonal skills to build robust relationships with strategic vendors, negotiating the best value possible. A degree in Business or other relevant discipline is essential to the role.
