From claims to plant-based blends, where will CBD go next?

Emerging excitement around plant-based wellness, paired with the fact that the cannabidiol (CBD) market is tipped to be the leading growth category for wellness in 2021 means more companies than ever are turning their attention to the beauty and wellness benefits of cannabis.

Sana Lifestyle is Europe’s premier distributor of CBD and plant-based wellness products across health, beauty and dermatology.

Based in London, the company was founded in 2019 by BBC Junior Apprentice winner Arjun Rajyagor and his former Boston Consulting Group colleague Ben Hamburger.

It offers a full-service solution from manufacturing through regulation management to point of purchase.

Here, beauty industry veteran Joel Palix, Chairman of Sana Lifestyle, tells Cosmetics Business how the CBD market is progressing and how brands can be a part of it.
