Are you a hands-on Finance Controller or Director who loves supporting entrepreneurs and High Net Worth Individuals?
Are you fluent in Spanish, have you spent time living in Spain or the Spanish Islands?
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work for a small group of HNWI across their asset portfolio. This is not a typical corporate role; you must be able to demonstrate absolute discretion and confidentiality.
You need to be commercially minded, a good project manager with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to listen, pick apart and find the root cause of a problem.
You will lead a small team, based in both UK and Ibiza and must be able to gain their support and respect. You will work on a variety of day to day and ad hoc projects, it will be your responsibility to fix a wide variety of situations that would not normally fall under the remit of an FD and must be comfortable with this.
You need to understand property portfolios, have experience with rental agreements, managing private properties, including domestic staff contracts, business premises and the costs involved.
With overall responsibility for financial control and reporting, you will prepare management accounts for a property portfolio, manage the cashflow, payroll and tax returns, and oversee private and commercial businesses in the UK and international locations.
Experience with accountancy software, such as xero would be an advantage.
Based in London, you will travel regularly to Spain, particularly Ibiza.
