French curly hair care specialist Farida b has added three new skus to its Gamme HydraDétente range, which was formerly only two products strong. Shampooing Lissant (€16 for 250ml), with baobab oil, is designed to repair, hydrate and prepare the hair for straightening. The firm says that although frizzy and curly hair can vary in how difficult it is to relax, according to its suppleness or degree of frizz, baobab oil softens the hair capillary, making it easier to straighten the hair and minimising the use of tools.
Masque Lissant (€22 for 300ml), with amaranth oil, is for hair that is regularly straightened. The amaranth oil helps to regenerate the cells of the hair and offers long-term moisturising effects without weighing the hair down, as frizzy hair is very dry by nature and can dry out even faster and produce split ends when treated with tools such as hairdryers and hot irons.
Soin Lissant Intense (€28 for 100ml), with keratin and cashmere proteins, is for hair that is regularly blow-waved or hot styled. The combination of keratin, cashmere protein, amaranth oil and baobab helps the hair to be detangled and styled faster, resulting in less damage because the hair is subjected to heat for a shorter period, according to the company.
Farida b products, which also contain pentanol and hibiscus flower acid, are available at affiliated salons, para- pharmacies and from the firm’s website.
